Casarecce is a type of pasta with curled edges and grooves down the middle originating in Sicily. Due to its origins, casarecce is often served with Mediterranean ingredients such as eggplant, tomatoes, cheese, and basil. Seafood is excellent with this shape of pasta. At the pasta shop, we find casarecce is a fantastic shape to pair with a recipe including local manila clams.
