Morrocan Ahi Tuna Steaks

Ras el Hanout is the mother spice in Morocco. Often containing up to 20 ingredients, the complexity of this blend is part of what makes it so versatile. After a trip to Morocco, I was excited to incorporate this spice into our kitchen and was blown away after trying it on Ahi Tuna Steaks. Give it a try and enjoy the mystery of Ras el Hanout!

Ingredients: Ahi tuna steaks, ras el hanout blend (peppercorn - black, nutmeg, cumin, paprika, coriander, allspice, grains of paradise, ginger, nigella, caraway, cinnamon, true cinnamon, roses, brown mustard, anise, mace, turmeric, long pepper, chamomile, fenugreek seed, cardamom, cloves, chile flake, and lavender)

Serving Size: Approximately 6 oz filet + 1.5 tsp Ras El Hanout seasoning

Eat Within: 2 days

Instructions: Sprinkle with desired amount of seasoning, cook over med-high heat in skillet 3-4 min/side until flakey. Enjoy!

Notes: Put in freezer or enjoy in 2 days. Enjoy with Saffron Couscous and Marrakesh Carrot Salad!
